State Treasur-er Weds.Bateaville, Ark. Iec. 0--State Treasurer II. 0. Tipton and Mrs. Mildred H. Hinkle were unitedin marriage this afternoon at the residence of the bride in Bates* ville. Rev. Calloway, pastor of the Baptist church here, performed the ceremony. The wedding was witnessed by thfe relatives and a few close friends of the couple. Karnest and Wm. Tipton, sons of the bridegroom, were present.Col. Tipton and bride left tonight for St. Louis and other northern points on a brief tour, after which they will go to Little Rock to reside.The bride was the widow of H. H. Ilinkle, one of the most prominent citizens of Bateaville in his lifetime. Sho was born ai d reared at Lacrosse, Hard county, and Col. Tipton has known the family since his boyhood. He, too, was reared in Izard county, and the present Mrs. Tipton attended school in which he was a teacher while she was 15 years old.
