HONOR RECENTBRIDEMrs. Jim Christie, recent bride, was honored with a miscellaneous bridal shower Monday evening at the Muscotah City Hall.She was assisted in opening her gifts by the bridegroom’s mother, Mrs. Jess Christie, and his grandmother, Mrs. Harold Christie.Mrs. Goldie Tosterud presided at the guest book. Arranging the gifts were Kim and Lori Blunt, Tracy Rice and Lyn Rohlfs.The bride’s table was covered with a yellow and green cloth and centered with a bride doll. The yellow and green color scheme was used in decorations throughout the hall.A flute solo by Tracy Rice and a vocal selection by Rose Barthel were presented.Refreshments were served.Hostesses were Mesdames Ralph Rice, Lewis White, Elmer Loyd, Alvin Henning, Ron Galland, Donald Jacobs, William Postma, Leslie Smith, Goldie Tosterud, John Armstrong, Fred Hubbard, Carl Anderson, Wallace Compton, William Barthel and Miss Emma Higley.
