The beautiful bride entered the aisle an the arm of her brother, Richard Wood, carrying a bouquet of orchids, lilies of the valley and carnations, at the altar they were joined by the groom and his best man.The impressive ring ceremony was read by Rev. Bone. The lovely bride never looked sweeter and more handsome, wearing white Dutchess satin fashioned with heart shaped neckline, fitted basque and boufant skirt with train, the sheer veil completely covering the train.The ring-bearer was little Herman Bruce of Mimai looking handsome in a white flannel suit. Little Miss 15attie Cook, flower girl, wore a handsome taffeta costume floor length, carrying a basket of pink rose petals. The maid of honor and each bridesmaid wore a handsome gold necklace, gift of the bride.Miss Wood’s only ornament was a gold locket, a gift to her mother trom her father.Mrs. Wood attended her daughters marriage wearing a handsome black, silk alpacca with accessories to match and wearing a corsage of white carnations.Mrsk. Freeman, mother of the groom was gowned in a lovely blue taffeta with accessories to match and wearing a corsage of white carnations and Mrs* Wood, grandmother of the bride wore an exquisite gown of fuehia crepe.Immediately after the ceremony Mrs. Wood was hostess at a reception at the Wood home on Adams street.Receiving with Mrs. Wood were Mr. and Mrs. Freeman, parents ol the groom and the bridal party.
