MISS FLORA NELL WOOD IWEDS WADE FRANKLIN !'FREEMAN AT BOSTONnaavTi-ieinad»u-aarxl-?wii«eofutlis\\Tryit:,mityThe wedding ot Miss Flora Nell Wood of Boston, Ga., and Mr. Wade Franklin Freeman of Mimai, Fla., was solmenized in the Boston Baptist Church, Sunday, Nov. 26, 1939.The interior of the church with its arched stained glass v/indows formed the picturesque background at 5:30 for the wedding of Miss Flora Nell Wood, daughter of Mrs-Semiranlus Cook Wood and the Idle Dolphus Wood, to Wade Prank-dh Freeman of Miami, Fla.The many friends and relatives saw the impressive service read by the Rev. F. A. Bone, formerly of Boston, but now of Thpmasville, Ga.Before the ceremony Mrs. F. A. Bone presented a program of nuptial selection at piano. Mr. Thomas Andrishock of Thomasville sang “Ah 4Sweet Mystery of Life” and “Because.”The bridal motif of green and white featured the floral decoration of the church. The entire rostrum was banked with palms, and wood-wnrdi a ferns centered by tall and large white china vases tilled, with large and graceful chrysanthemums. Behind these were two seven-branch chandelabra holding burning tapers. Down the two main aisles each reserve seat was marked by a shower of white ribbon.The bridal party advanced to the altar to the strains of Mendelssohn’s wedding march. ,Mr. Richard Wood gave his sister in marriage and Mr. Roy Freeman if Quincy,. Fla., served as best, man for his brother.Miss Elizabeth Wood was her sister’s maid of honor and was perfectly charming, wearing a handsome wineberry velvet gown, carrying a bouquet of white crysanthe-mums with yellow centers, tied with shower eggshell satin ribbon.. The groomsmen were Messrs. Clarence Barber, Hugh Barber and Perry Rich of Bainbridge, Ga,The bridesmaids were all cousins of the bride, and were handsomely gowned in velvet. Miss Gladys Collins of Miami, wore moss green velvet, Miss Ruby Holloway of Savannah wore raspberry velvet, Miss Rey-aeli McCann of Miami wore royal olue, all calrylng bouquets of white chrysanthemums with yellow centers and shower of eggshell satin ribbon.
