WEDS IN DAKOTAMiss Grace McDonnell, WhittemoreYoung: Lady, Married Saturday atMinot, North Dakota,On last Saturday, at Minot, North Dakota, at St. Leo’s Catholic church, occurred the marriage of Miss Grace McDonnell of Whittemore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. P. McDonnell, to Mr. A. Carvel, a popular young druggist of Garrison, North Dakota. The young couple will live at Garrison, where the bride taught school last year. Miss McDonnell is well and favorably known in Algona and has a large circle of friends in Kossuth county who will wish her anil her husband much joy and happiness. As a fitting prelude to the above mentioned event a pre-nuptial shower was given last Friday night by about one hundred of Miss McDonald’s friends, at the handsome farm home of Mr. and Mrs. James O’Brien, north of Whittemore, ami many valuables presented to the bride. Miss McDonnell was for several years one of Kossuth county's popular and efficient teachers.
