Kiijg City.A very preltv house wedding took place at I he home of Mr. and Mi*s. Job Wells, King ('it y. on the evening of Wednesday. November 28. when (heir daughter Maggie was married to Mr. Archibald Simpson of Kleinhtirg. The Rev. Mr. Robinson, Methodist minister of King (’ity performed the marriage ceremony. Mr. Louis Wells, brother of I he bride acted as groomsman, and Miss Fanny Simpson of Toronto as bridesmaid. The bride was very handsomely attired in Myrtle green Ladies’ cloth with white satin and Passementerie as trimming and 1 the bridesmaid was costumed in gray.When the happy couple had received[the congratulations m their many friertds the company repaired to the dining-room whereabout forty guests sat down to a sumptuous repast. Consisting of 'hot fowl and all the other delicacies of the season : after which the young couple left op the 7.15 train for Toronto, amid showers of rice and old boots. The bride received many costly and beautiful presents, thus showing the high esteem in which she was held by her friends.
