fHappily W€dd«d.One of the happy Thanksgiving gatherings of Thursday was that bald at tha pleasant home of Mr. and Mrs, Truman H Ingei ’soiL three miles southeast uf Joliet, when and where Mr. £. B. Crawford was united in marriage to Miss Ella, the lovely and accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ingersoll.The ceremony took place at one o’clock in the afternoon, in the elegantly decorated andfestooned parlor, which was daikened andthen brilliantly lighted with laa.pe.With a large number of relatives and friendsto witness the ceremony uniting the youngcouple, who so auspiciously remembered thepresident’s Thanksgiving proclamation, Rev. w. H. Crawford, of Evanston, a brother of the groom, pronounced the marriage words, assisted by ftqv. T. V. £. Svreet, of the Richards street Methodist church, that made thyn husband and wife.The brkie was robed in an exquisite cream-white cashmere and trimming*, Chinese silk,ribbons and tulle.The list of wedding presents was immense, many coming from relatives in other states. Among the display we saw a deed for a lot on First avenue in ini* city, a gift from toe bride's grandpareu.s, Mr. and Mrs DavidA reception was held from seven until half* past ten in the evening, and a superb repast served, the honors of the oeeaeion being greatly enhanced by the kindly office of Miss Marian Niles, of Oak Park, and Miss Ida Bmitn, eousiu of the bride:Mr. and Mrs. Crawford have gone for a brief tour through the sunny south , return-tog, they will go to housekeeping.
