former Connie Sue Biackard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Blackard and parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. J.C, Crow of Humble City.Rev. Edwin Chappell, pastor of the church, officiated for the 2 p.m. doublering ceremony before an altar adorned with two baskets of pink gladioli andred carnations. Candelabra wereplaced on either side of the altar and the couple knelt on a white kneeling pillow at the close of the service. Pews were designated with red and pink satin bows.Grady Richards Jr. of Phoe-ntx, Ariz. served his brother-in-law as best man and Mrs. John Blevins of Garden Grove, Calif., aunt of the bride, was matron of honor.Bridesmaids were Miss Frances Wood, sorority sister of the bride of ENMU, Portales,and Albuquerque, and Miss BethRylant, friend from Abilene.Before an altar decorated withbaskets of blue carnations andMarriage vows were exchanged in ceremonies held at Mill-.crest Baptist Church November 23 by Miss Linda Lloyd and LynnDye.The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Jimmy Smith and the groom’s father is Cecil Dye.The bride wore a dress of blue with tan trim and carrieda nosegay of blue carnations withwhite satin ribbon ani lace. Attending the couple wereMrs. Linda Reiia and Jim Hawkins.Following the ceremony a reception was held in fellowship hall.The serving table was cer*. tered with the wedding cake, athree tiered confection of white with pink trimmings.
