N. f • *vs ., -c—^ TMiss Reta Marie Heald, daughter of Mrs. Arthur Heald, South Monroe Boulevard, became the bride of Joseph George'Hanson, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. George Hanson. 75 Elkcnburg. in a double ring ceremony on Nov 29, 1958 at 5 p.m. in the First Congregational Church with the Rev. Lawrence E. Tenhopen officiating, ihe bride wasgiven in marriage by her brother, Carl K. Heald.ported chantilly lace over taffeta featured a scoop neckline, long lace siee*ves, and chantilly lace inserts in the skirt and a sweep train. Her fingertip veil of imported silk illusion was held in place by a crown of pearls and sequins. She wore a pearl necklace which was a giftfrom the groom and carried a cascade bouquet of wedding white orchids and silver ivy.Donna Heald, sister of the bride, acted a-s her maid of honor. She is a student at Michigan State University at Lansing. Her ballerina length gown of Christmas red taffeta featured princess lines with three-quarter length aleeves and a scoop neckline, and a red crown headpiece. She carried acascade bouquet of red happiness roses surrounded by white butterfly rose buds.Bridesmaids, Patricia Heald, sts-ter-in-law of the bride, Baroda, Frances' Terwilliger, student at MSU, and Sally Patterson, cousin of- the bride, 518 Maple St., wore gowns identical to that of the maid of honor and carried similarflowers.Best man was George Hanson, father of the groom, acting as ushers were, Marvin Konertz, cousinof the groom, Chicago, Tom Dare, cousin of the groom, Morton Grove, 111, and Jerry Heald, Kmth»r nt th* bride. South Haven.The church was decorated wilt vase-s of white carnations and haskets of white California chrysanthemums and pom pom mums, sprinkled with diamond dust. The church aisle’s were decorated with small bouquets of white pom pom mums. This set the scene for theorganist.
