Helen Hoth and Elmer Shanewise Were Married Wednesday—Helen Hoth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hoth and Elmer Shane wise, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Shanewise, Fairbanks were united in marriage at the Salem Evangelical church at 12:00 yesterday, Dec. 4th.Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hoth, brother and sister-in-law of the brideThe bride was gowned in a lovebird green satin dress, trimmed in Spanish lace and beads. She carried a shower bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums and baby breath.The bride’s maid wore yellow geor gette and carried small chrysanthemums.The groom wore the conventionalnavy blue suit.The wedding march was played by Miss Rachel Shanewise, sister of the groom. Russell Platz, friend of the bridal couple, sang “O, Promise Me” and “I Love You Truly.”Immediately after the ceremony a two course dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents to twenty-one guests. Table decorations were carried out in green and white. Waitresses were Norma and Evelyn Hoth and Melba Shanewise.After being graduated from the Sumner High School the bride became a successful teacher in the rur al schools of the community.
