} FRANK AND GLENDORA. ji -They Hailed From Franklin and Were Married Here Last Evening.I Mr. Frank A. Needham and Miss Glendora Sexton, a good looking young couple from Franklin, drove over here from that place last night. There was1 nothing strange or peculiar about there doing this, but there is about, their mission. On arriving here they stopped at the Ray House, and Mr. Needham went in search of a friend, who is one of our most prominent citizens, and informed that gentleman that he desired his assistance in pro-1 curing a marriage license. A deputy clerk was found and a license issued to Frank and Glendora. The next thingin order was a magistrate to make them one. It. .was then nine o’clock, and as Shelbyville ministers are always in the arms of Morpheus at that hour, it was deemed proper i not to disturb them, but hunt up a 1 justice of the peace, anyone of whom would crawl from their downy beds ; at midnight to add another ‘‘shinner” to their bank account. Runners : were sent out, and were not long in stumbling onto His Honor, ’Squire J. D. Lacey, who grasped at the happy ( anticipation of getting a kiss from one 1 of Johnson county’s fairest daugh- \ ters. The party adjourned to the ’Squire’s office, where, with all the dignity known to the ’Squire, he pronounced the words which bound to- i gether for better or for worse Frank lt;and Glendora. After the usual con- ' grtulations from the small crowd of curious spectators, Mr. Needham and his pretty bride went to the Big Four * depot where they took the ten o’clock ] train for Indianapolis and are to day, doubtless, receiving the blessings of those who didn't know it was loaded. i The bride is a daughter of Mr. Blijah Sexton and a granddaughter of Squire Allen Sexton, of i Franklin, and has many friends in i Shelbyville. The groom is a son of , Mr. Mart Needham, one of the best j known and popular men in Johnson county, and is a young man who will love, cherish and protect the woman of his choice. 1
