Yesterday a colored citizen named John A. Cook appeared at the Probate Judge’* office and procured a licence for the marriage of himself and Saliie M. Tinjmlt;*r-man, of Smith held township. Moth-ing special was thought of the mat ter until this morning. Rev. Or. Walker, who performed the ceremony, reported that the bride was a white woman. This is probably t he first marriage of the kind in Jefferson county.« m a ■ / « m
