Thanhauser lt;fc Wiler of this city, has increased the population of Fort Wayne one, by bringing here, in the person of his wife, one of Lafayette’s belles. The Lafayette Journal speaks of the affair as follows :The hospitable residence of William Shivelv, one of our oldest and most highly respected clothing merchants, at the corner of Ninth and Ferry streets, was last evening thrown open for the reception of a goodly number of our citizens. The occasion being the marriage of his beautiful and accomplished daughter, Miss Kate Rindskopf Shively to Mr. Frank Montague Curtis, now of Fort Wayne, but a LaFayette boy “Bred and to the manor born.,’The bride, a lovely brunette, wns elegantly attired in a white satin, cut en train, square neck, trimmed in puffs and bows of the same material, with pearl slides and point applique lace, orange blossoms, and a lull* veil reaching to the floor, and pearl jewelry.
