Phyllis M. Welke Becomes Bride of Lt. Raymond MaikFALL CREEK- - On Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Miss Ptiyl lis M. Welke, daughter o f Mr. and Mrs. Otto Welke, and Lt. Raymond V. Maik. son of Mr. and Mrs. Erhardt Maik, were united in mar riage in St, Paul's Lutheran Church here The Rev. J. E. Bittner officiated.The bririe was given t n marriage by her father Her floor length gown of imported French Rosepoint lace and gossamer tulle over slipper satin was styled with a scoop neckline, edged in handclipped scallops, and scalloped lace and tulle and a redingote panel of lace in the front. Her lace - edged veil fell from a tiara. She carried a bouquet of Amazon lilies and red garnet roses.Miss Ruth Steinke attended the bride as maid of honor, and Mrs. Milton Kuehn. sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. The y wore waltz length gowns of American Beauty velvet styled with torso bodices. Their headpieces were matching velvet bands with veils. They carried nose-gay bouquets of white mums and dark red garnet roses.The flower girl, Janice Maik, sister of the groom, wore a floor length gown of chiffon over taffeta. She carried a bouquet similar to the brides.Willard Maik was his brother’s best man. Ushers were Phillip and Marvin Welke, brothers of the bride, and Milton Kuehn. Tommy Kuehn was ring bearer.The reception was held in the church parlors.Mrs. Welke attended her daughter’s wedding in a cotillion blue knit dress, and the groom’s mother wore a navy blue knit dress. Both wore corsages of pink camellias.Lt. and Mrs. Welke will make their home at Dugway Proving Grounds, Utah.Prenuptial events were given by Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Kelley, Miss Ruth Steinke and Mrs. Milton Kuehn. !At
