South Jones students paint Deason HousejailV / Photo/SubmittedLast month, Dwelia Haas’ South Jones Junior High students took advantage of having a historical site near their art room. With the oldest house in Jones County located next to the school, students were able to study and paint small acrylic portraits of the Deason Home. Pictured with her painting is eighth grader Rachel Tucker.
