Dec. 2, in Victoria.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Gerdes, 1701 North East Street, and Mr Wilton is the son of Mrs. George William Wilson, and the late Mr. Wilson of Dallas.The double ring vows were celebrated by the Rev. John Moore, in a floral setting of baskets of chrysanthemums for the side altars, and two bouquets on the main altar Escorted by her father, the bride chose a gown of white bridal satin and Chantilly lace. The front panels were of rose patterned lace over the white satin. The back featured four lavishly shirred poufs of satin artfully forming a dramatic cathedral length train The .long tapered sleeves were accented at the points by a pearl appliqued lace rose pattern. The pearl appliqued roses outlined the rounded sweet-1 heart neckline in a scalloped ef- j feet.The bride wore a single strand pearl choker and pearl earrings, a gift of the bridegroom and a crystal crown held in place her veil of illusion She carried a white orchid in a setting of stephanotis blossoms, on a white satin covered missle Mrs Marilyn Blair of Huntsville, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Misses Angeline Henley of Abilene.
