MR. AND MRS. RICHARD E. ZINNERTRichard E. Zinnert WedsBonnie Joleen McMillan^ Miss Bonnie Joleen McMillan, daughter of Junior McMillan and Mrs. Gene Stella, Marceline, became the bride of Richard E. Zinnert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Zinnert, Ka-hoka, at 6 o’clock Thanksgiving day In the First Baptist Church, Marceline, with the Rev. Kenneth Kelley performing the double ring ceremony.Mrs. Charles Payden, organist, played background wedding music and accompanied Mrs. Gary Williams, Columbia, as she'sang “The Ring” by Schumann and “Whither Thou Goest” by Cassler. Mrs. Payden also . accompanied Clarence Prudhoe, Bolivar, as he sang “I Love Thee” by Greig and “The Wedding Prayer” by Dunlap.The altar was decorated with arrangements of yellow gladioli and bronze chrysanthemums with orange bows. Candelabras, holding lighted tapers, flanked the altar.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length white peau de sole satin gown In princess style with a scooped collared neckline. The train of peau de sole satin, attached at the shoulders, was accentuated by lace and pearls. The elbow length veil of bridal illusion was attached to a crown cap covered with lace and pearls identical to the train.The bridal bouquet was fashioned with a single white orchid combined with white daisy pom Ijiori mums and stephenotis and was carried on a white Bible.Mrs. Ronnie Lain, Marceline, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor and she wore a floor length, princess style gown of t peau de sole satin in avocado t * green. Mrs. Lain carried a bou-f quet of bronze daisy pom pon mums.The bridesmaids were Mrs. Richard Dre^fwho wore a copper colored floor length gown.id aNew One?*Ramona Caby, Pevely, who wore a gold floor length gown, and Mrs. Clarence Prudhoe who wore a American beauty red floor length gown, all identical to the matron of honor. Each s bridesmaid carried a bouquet of yellow daisy pom pon mums.Penny Oldham, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl and ! she wore a dress of harvest lt;gold peau de sole satin identical to the attendants. She carried a white basket filled with red rose petals.Dennis Pope, cousin of the bride, carried the rings, on a white heart-shaped satin pillow covered with lace with white ribbon streamers tied in love knots.The bridegroom chose as his best man, Ronnie^ Lain, Marceline. Groomsmen were Terry McMillan, brother of the bride, Dale Dollfka, Flaglar, Colo., and Gary Williams, Columbia.Candlelighters were Gary Pope and Tommy Oldham, cousins of the bride. Pages were John Newman and Evan Newman, cousins of the bridegroom, Kahoka. Ushers were David Moore, Kahoka, and Ronnie Davis, Klrksville.For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Stella chose a brown knit dress with gold accessories. Mrs. Zinnert chose a beige brocade dress and jacket with black accessories. Both mothers wore orchid corsages.Karen Oldham, cousin of the bride, presided at the guest book.The marr.iage ceremony ended with the lighting of one candle symbolizing two lives becoming one. ^A reception was held following the Sevice. The bride's table was decorated with a white tablecloth trimmed with lace. The wedding cake, made by Mrs Eugene McMillan and Mrs. Leroy Oldham, aunts of the bride, had four tiers. The top of the cake held a Christo-gram surrounded by bronze and yellow roses and white sugar, wedding bells. The top tier was divided from the rest by col-: **’ umns. A miniature bride and bride *groorh were placed be-' tween the division. On the other tiers, miniatures of the wedding party and yellow and bronze roses were placed. A cut glass punch bowl and yellow candles completed the table decorations. 4—Judy Porter, Memphis, Tenn., and Marilyn Foley, Marceline, served cake and punch from the bride's table.Others assisting the bride were Tammy Pope, Pamela Oldham and David Oldham, cousins of the bride.Out of town guests were from Bofltar, Brookfield, Bucklin, Columbia, Kahoka, Kansas City, Meadville, Mexico, Pevely, Rothvllle, and Taylor. Out of state guests came from Colorado Sprihgs and Flagler, Colo.; Dallas, Tex.; and Memphis, Tenn,Mrs. Zinqert is the music instructor in the Bucklin School .(syste'm aqd Mr. Zinnert is a senior at Northeast Missouri State College, Kirksville.
