Seventeen persons have been fined in Justice A. P. Timmerman’s! court on traffic charges.1 jerry W. Darbyshire, Danville j route 1. and Gerhard W. Kanne-i giesser, New London, were each ‘ lined $32 and costs on speeding charges filed by city police Friday night. Police chased the two drivers out of town onto the country where the arrests were made.The following wreie fined for speeding and the tickets were issued ■by the highway patrol who were operating a radar speed analyzer east of Mt. The family pews were marked by white satin bows.The guests were seated by Rand Youngman, brother of the bride, and Dean King, brother of the groom.The bride, given in marriage by her father and mother, wore a gown of handclipped Chantilly lace over taffeta with scalloped neckline and long sleeves, which were tapered to a point over the wrists. Fan shaped tiers fell into a chapel train. Her bouffant waist-length veil of nylon illusion fell from a crown of seed pearls and aurora borialis crystals. Her bouquet was an arrangement of red and white roses attached to her white Nurses Bible Her only jewelry was a cultured pearl enclosed in a gold bell, a gift of the groomServing as maid of honor was Jeanette McFarland of Good Hope111., with Sherry Walker of Danville and Judy Zimmer of Ottumwa as bridesmaids. They wore sapphire blue brocade taffeta sheath dresses, with net overskirts, matching head bands oi taffeta and net, and carried blue muffs adorned with white carnations. They wore matching blueer of the groom. All of the men of the bridal party wore white carnation boutonnieres.Wayne Youngman, brother of the bride, carried the rings on a white heart-shaped satin pillow. He was attired in a dark suit and wore a black bow tie.Mary Kathryn Youngman. sister of the bride, served as flower girl. Her dress and tiara were identical to those of the taper lighters and she carried a basket trimmed with blue net.The rrvotheT of the bride chose a three piece blue knit’suit With blackfour tier wedding cake, topped with a miniature bride and groom, surrounded by smilax and white daisies. The bride’s colors of blue and white were carried out in the cake decorations. mints, and candles. The bride and groom traditionally cut the first piece of cake.Karol King and Ellen King served the cake Mrs Dean Messer poured coffee and Mrs. Ivan Alter took care of the punch. All were former classmates of the bride.Gifts were arranged on a long table covered with blue and cared for by Mrs Leah Johnson, Beverly Aldstrand, Karen and Linda King and Karen RodruckJunior hostesses were Janice and Judy Hookum. Nona Allen. Rosiland Rodruck. Those assisting in the kitchen were Mrs Harold Robb Mrs Ralph Wickham. Mrs. Homer Jackson and Mrs. Dean Allen.For their trip to the coast theaccessories. The groom’s mother wore bride chose a brown suede suit witha blue crepe dress with gray accessories. Both wore corsages of white carnations.All living grandparents of the bride anil groom were present and wore white carnation corsages and boutonnieres. They are Mr. and Mrs Elbert Snell, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Youngman, all of Winfield, Mrs. Lila Spearman and Mrs. Etta Belle King, both of Mt. Pleasant.Carol King sister of the bridegroom presided at the guest book.Two hundred guests attended the reception held in the basement of the church.Mrs. Earl Lancaster acted as dining room hostess. Mrs. Edna Young as wedding party hostess and Mrs. Berch Buffington a kitchen hostess.The table was centered by a largeblack accessories and wore a corsage fiom her bridal bouquet.Both the bride and groom graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. The groom attended the American Institute of Business in Des Moines for one year and has been in the NHvy, stationed in San Diego. Calif. for eight months. He has been transferred to Norfolk, Va, for two years. The bride has been attending the Burlington Hospital School of Nursing as a Junior student and will continue her training at a School of Nursing in the Norfolk areaOut-of-town guests attending were f~om Burlington, Mediapolis.
