Winfield Couple WedElizabeth Chamberland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Chamberland, Winfield, exchanged wedding vows with Farley Frazier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen K. Frazier of Winfield at 4 p m. Nov. 8. The double ring ceremony was performed by Father John Dinan and the Rev. William T. Soule in the Holy Name Catholic Church. The bride was escorted to the altar by her father.The bride wore an Alfred Angelo original wedding gown of ivory Chantilly lace and polyester organza The A-line front skirt was joined to a high bodice and had a wedding band collar and long fitted sleeves which had butterfly flounces of organza. The Watteau train came from midway in the back bodice with hand-clipped medallions scattered over the full chapel length train. She wore a matching mantilla veil and carried a nosegay bouquet of baby pink and red roses with baby breath and accented with white satin streamers.Mrs Timothy Butler, Winfield, sister of the bride served as matron of honor and wore a soft pink dress accentedwith a short cranberry colored velvet jacket. Mrs Kendal Frazier, Topeka and Mrs John Frazier, Chapman served as bridesmaids and Cathy Chamberland. sister of the bride wasjunior attendant. They wore gowns of floor length cranberry velvet similar to the bride’s Each carried matching nosegay bouquets.Jim McClung. Winfield, was the best man and groomsmen were Kendal Frazier, Topeka, and John Frazier, Chapman, brothers of the bridegroom. Graham Frazier, Winfield served as junior attendant to his brother. Mike Chamberland, Sedan, brother of the bride and Timothy Butler, Jim Chamberland, and Jack Pringle were ushers.Lighting the candles were Timothy Butler, Winfield, and Jim Chamberland, Winfield, brother of the bride.Mrs. Albert Groene sang at the wedding, accompanied by Mrs. Mike Chamberland of Sedan.The reception was held immediately following the ceremony with Martha Kemp of Vinton, Iowa, Sheryl Davidson, Winfield, and Phyllis Hackerott, Great Bend at the reception table. Mrs. Leo Kemp and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Aistrup also assisted with the reception.Mr. and Mrs. Frazier are residing in Lenora, Kan. where he is teaching social science and is head basketball coach.
