View, Calif.The Ilks were married Nov. 8 at the First Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Elbert G. Harlow.She is the former Lisa Janefc Konopaski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Konopaski. Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Ilk of Oshkosh, Wis. are the bridegroom’s parents.Mrs. Don Warner played the organ at her niece’s wedding. James Drennan sang “I’ll Walk with God” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”Large baskets of white chrysanthemums with royal blue bows decorated the sanctuary.Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a long gown of white de-lustered satin and a chapel train.She had a tuppence and a penny of her birth in her shoes and carried a lace handkerchief used by brides in her family. Her ring of three garnets was her great grandmother’s engagement ring. Hilda Gray gave her the blue garter she wore.The bride carried a cascade of white miniature carnations on her Rainbow Bible.Beth Olander of Bellingham was maid of honor. Mrs. Steven Rix of Renton was matron of honor. They wore long gowns of royal blue and had matching halfhats.Dressed the same were bridesmaids Mrs. John Winch, sister of the bride, Mrs. Steve Fryar and Miss Lonnie Konopaski, cousins of the bride.Each attendant wore blue-stoned rings, gifts from the bride, and carried colonial bouquets of white carnations with white velvet streamers.Merry Winch, her aunt’s flower girl, wore royal blue velvet andMr. and Mrs. Stephen Anthony IlkDeines Studio photocarried a miniature colonial nosegay of white carnations. Keenan Konopaski, nephew, was ring bearer. He wore royal blue velvet suit with white satin shirt and short pants.The little outfits were made by Mrs. Warner.Mrs. Konopaski wore lime crepe trimmed with gold braid, matching hat and accessories.Mrs. Ilk wore a raspberry pink knit suit with matching hat and accessories.Both mothers had cattleya orchid corsages.Dan Ilk was his brother’s bestman. The bride’s brother Dan Konopaski of Bellevue ushered with Russell Palmer, Dale Hopkins and Dennis Likes, all of Sunnyvale.They all wore Edwardian tuxedoes and had white rosebud boutonnieres.Mr. and Mrs. David Moffatt were hosts for the reception which followed at Harrigton’s Skyroom.A carved German candle, a gift from the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Don Halbman, was featured on the tea table.Pouring were Mmes. Warnerand J. L. MacDonald, aunts of the bride.Aunts Mmes. Leo Konopaski and Warren Konopaski cut the cross-shaped cake which Mrs. Ivan Bishop made and decorated.Serving punch were the bridegroom’s sister, Miss Mary Ilk with the bride’s uncle. Don Halbman.The bride’s cousin, Mrs. Edward Bedford had charge of the guest book. Attending the gifts was Mrs. Rollin Konopaski.The bride’s niece, Kirsten Konopaski, passed the groom’s cake which was sealed inside miniature white felt Bibles, withblue crosses, which were madeby the bride.Here for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Ilk with Daniel and Mary, Mmes. Edward Konopaski and J. L. MacDonald from Beaver, Messrs. and Mmes. Merlin Winch and Steven J. Rix from Renton.Sekiu guests were Messrs. and Mmes. S. Langner, Charles Simmons, L. Gullikson, Mmes. Jim Helmick, Doris Olson and Eugene Konopaski with Vickie.Others were Elsa Wayner of Carlsborg, Dan Konopaski and Ellen Smith from Bellevue, Ellen Cunningham, Beth Olander and Patricia Coy from Bellingham, Messrs. and Mmes. Willys Olander of Federal Way, Myron Isonberger of Marysville, Don Halbman of Silverdale, Kenneth Aker and Perry from Mount Vernon.From Seattle were Mrs. Leslie Schmocker Loghry, Miss Lonnie Konopaski, Messrs. and Mmes.
