McDonaldVowsSaturday Nov. 20thMarriage vows between Margaret Joyce, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don McDonald of Livingstone district, and Mel-of the bride, and carried bouq uets of chrysanthemums.The Bride's Table was centred with a beautifully decoratedvin James Irwfn, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Irwin of Sinclair, Man. were solemnized in the United Church, Gladstone, Nov. 20th at 3 p.m. Rev. B. Pogue officiated and Mrs. Bob Scott presided at the organ. Soloist wasMiss Barbara Broadfoot whosang “The Wedding Prayer’’ and “O Perfect Love”.The bride given in marriage by her father, looked charming in a floor length gown of white peau de soie. The molded bodice showed a solid lace effect, featuring a scoop neckline and lily-point sleeves. A high insert accented the aemi-controlied skirt enhanced with two large garland appliques of french lace. A watteau train, adorned with lace appliques, was attached at the shoulders with a bow and ties. A Queen’s tiara of pearls and crystals held in place the nylon net, lace edged veil. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses and wore a pearl droplet, a gift of the groom.The Matron of Honour, Mrs. Henry Claussen, and bridesmaid Miss Heather Slade, were gowned alike in Empire style dresses, featuring brown velvet bodices and gold brocade skirts. They wore pearl droplets, a giftMr. Bill Wismer attended the groom. Ushers were Mr. DannyMcDonald and Mr. Lyrrn Irwin.The mother of the bride chose a turquoise double knit dress with pink accessories. Her corsage was pink roses. The groom’s mother wore a green heather tone double knit suit, with a corsage of white carnations. Her accessories were fua-chia and black.Following the ceremony a reception was held in the Legion Hall for 125 guests, with catering service by the Livingstone Women’s Institute. Bouquets of gold and bronze “mums” decorated the room.three tiered wedding cake, flanked with white tapers inc’anduhtbra. Mr, ■* .lamos Cork olNeepawa proposed the toast to the Bride, to which the grdora responded.The Bride’s going-away coet-ume was a three piece yellow and white double knit suit, with which she wore black accessories.
