LENTS- inET WE0DIN6 (T sr. JOHN'S MONDtTA wedding which united two of ' Loogootee’s most popular young I people took place in St. John’s church on Monday morning at 5:30 o'clock. The ceremony was said by t the Rev. / Joseph P. Gerdon. in the ^presence of immediate relatives and friends of the contracting parties. The bride wore a brown broadcloth coat suit with fur trimmings and hat and shoes to match. Her bridesmaid was her sister. Miss Marie McKinney, who wore lavender. The; groom was attended by his nephew £arl Smith.Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to the bridal party, and members of the families at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. M. J. McKinney, in the southreast part of town. The couple left on the morning train for a wedding trip to Cincinnati and Indianapolis. They will visit with the bride’s sister Mrs. Warren Spaulding, at the latter place. Upon their return to this city they will be at home to their friends in their new home on the corner of Wood and Line streets.Mr. and Mrs. Lents have always made their homes in Loogootee andare among the city’s best knownyoung people. Mr. Lents is a son of Mrs. Susan Lents and for a number of years has been employed in the poultry department at Larkin Brothers' store, being, at the present time, foreman of the establishment. Mrs. Lents was also on employe of Larkin Brothers having for some time been cashier and clerk in their store.The groom has completed the erection of a handsome bungalow style residence, and has it newly furnished throughout for the reception of his bride. They expect to be at home to their friends after January 1st.
