Married at Vincennes.Miss Ethel M. Bowling, daughterof Mr. and Mrs. James M. Bowlingof 15 east St. Clair street, and Allie A. Arnold, city editor of the Vincennes Capital, were united in mar-' »riage at 7 o’clock Tuesday morning at high mass at the Sacred Heart church by Rev. Father John Becker.The double ring ceremony was used. The attendants were Miss Anna Kramer, cousin of the bridegroom, and G. Sanford Bowling of Washington, brother of the bride. The bride was attired in a taupe broadcloth traveling suit and a large picture hat. She wore a corsage bouquet of yellow rose buds and carried a prayer book. Miss Kramer was attired in a dark blue tailored suit and wore a hat to match.Immediately following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents attended only by the immediate families.Mrs. Arnold is the accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Bowling and for the past few years has had charge of the altering department of the Palace of Fashion store. Mr. Arnold for several years has been the city editor of the Vincennes Capital.Mr. and Mrs. Arnold departed for a ten days’ northern wedding tour. On their return they will reside at the home of the bridegroom’s mother, 426 Church street.Mr. and Mrs. Arnold carry with them the best wishes of their many friends and of the newspaper fraternity of the city.
