WHITE CHURCH.Health permanent.Temperance is what we need.Christmas is coming, and the children are anxiously waiting for the day to arrive.Mr. William Hanks is helping the appearance of his neighborhood by adding a new dwelling.Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Sands and little daughter, of this place, spent thanksgiving with Mr. Daniel Tichen-or and family.Mrs. Cora Meeker, of Hazleten, paid a visit to our neighborhood one daylast week.Mr. Theo. Dougan. one of our most enterprising young men, is attending school at Francisco.We had a runaway last Sunday evening iu our neighborhood, in which Mr, George Legrange was the unfortunate one. His buggy was damaged to the amount of $50.Married—Mr. Henry Meyers andMies Lillie Dougan, on the 25th iust., Rev, J. E. Jenkins officiating. We join tbeir many friends iu congratulations and good wishes.Miss Mattie Montgomery, a very accomplished young lady, spent last week visiting friends and relatiyes in Oakland City.A very interesting series of meetings is being held a* this place, conductedby Elder W. P. Hale and assisted by Eider JamesShatzer. These meetings will coutinue through the week, to which the phblic are invited to attend.
