Coulter, pastor of the( church, officiated at the double ring ceremony.A program of music was played by Mrs. Hugh Ben Lowe, organist, and Jack James Jr., soloist, sang several selections./Given in marriage by her stepfather, the . bride Wore a full-length gown of peau taffeth and Chantilly lace embroidered with seed pearls, fitted Bodice with a full-pleated skirt ending in a chapel length train. Her veil of illusion fell from a crown of seed pearls and she carried a prayer book centered with an orchid.Miss Patricia Gordon Storey sister of thlt;» bride, was maid-of-honor. She wore a ballerina-length gown of white velveray over pink taffeta and nylon net cummerbund with a large bow and streamers in the back. Her headpiece was a dyed-to-match head clip of horsehair braid tubing interwoven with seed pearls. She carried a colonial bouquet of mixed flowers.Bridesmaids were: Miss Martha Lowe, Miss Carolyn Gates, and Mrs, Edwin Lawrence Wollaston, ail of Hopewell. They wore bal-lerina-length gowns of white nylon velverary over blue taffeta and nylon net, with a taffeta cummberbund and large bow in the back. They wore headpieces of blue horsehair braid tubing interwoven with seed pearls andcarried colonial bouquets of mixed flowers.Mr. Gates was best man for his son and groomsmen were: James Edward Gates, brother of the bridegroom: Carlton Page McLauehltn, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Ernest Rudolph and Edwin Alexander Harding, ' of Richmond, the latter a cousin of the bridegroom.The bride’s mother wore astreet-length sheath dress in rose designed with tiers of scalloped lace over taffeta, with matching accessories. Her flowers were a corsage of while roses,Mrs. Gates wore a dress of royal blue lace over taffeta, with Navy blue accessories and a corsage of red roses.A reception was held in the-church social hall immediately following the ceremony. Mrs. Charles Hughes was mistress of ceremonies. Assistants were: Miss Emily House Mrs. Donald Earl Lee, and Mrs. Harold Luns-* ford.
