IiMrs. Jim Bartlett and Mrs. Hicks Garner were co-hostess in the Bartlett home Saturday night honoring Mrs. Brad Vaughn, lt;Nee jMiss Juanita Harris of Dallas, a recent bride in a miscellaneous shower. The entire affair was held ! on the well-lighted spacious lawn j of the beautiful ranch home. Mrs. Clayton Dark, Rockdale, served white cake squares, while Mrs. | Henry Able presided over the i punch bowl. Miss Nova Lene Cat- I fey of Temple had charge of the J bride’s book. Mrs. Lewis Modes-ette conducted several quiz games. Beverly Garner gave a comical reading on the bride’s shopping i tour for the first Thanksgiving dinner, after which Mrs. Clayton Dark gave the bride’s love story. The honoree received many beautiful and useful gifts. Those from a distance attending were Mrs.' J. N. Vaughn, Dallas, mother-in-1 law of the bride; Misses Patsy Beheler and Billy Jean Hawkins, Taylor; Mrs. T. B. Taylor and Mrs. Louis Taylor, Calvert; Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Duncan and grandchildren, Judy Jane and Emma Lou, Mrs. J. P.
