Schneider of Three Rivers and former Ludington residents, and Arrel Wesley Jones Jr. were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 in the First Presbyterian Church. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Steven Molnar of Constantine and Arrel W. Jones Sr. of Three Rivers.The Rev. Randall Paintersolemnized the double-ringceremony. Mrs. WinifredMcEnroe was organist, Miss Chris Vickery, pianist and Mrs. Craig Hagen, flutist. The Presbyterian Bell Choir alsoperformed several selections.Mrs. Deborah Soiee, sister of the bridegroom, was matron of honor and Miss Mary Schneider, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Catherine Schneider, sister of the bride; Miss Susan Burnham and Miss Donna Marmon of Three Rivers and Miss Faith Miller of Ludington.Ronald Mak served as best man and Walter Busher, Kim Witt, Jeffrey Smith, Jay Baker and Daniel Torrance were groomsmen. Ushers were Gerald Hackber Jr., RobertMeringa and James Schrader.Flower girl was Valerie Soiee, niece of the bridegroom and ringbearer was Oren Bingaman III.Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was attired in a gown of white organza styled with a Cluny laee-edged, square neckline, V-bodice and natural waist. Venice lace appliques trimmed the full bishop sleeves and front panel of the circular skirt which featured a threetiered, Cluny lace-edged flounce hem and eathedral-Tength self train. Appliques and cap were accented with pearls. She wore a Venice lace-edged mantilla veil of white illusion and carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations, sweetheart roses and baby's breath.The bridal attendants wore rainbow-colored, Cinderella-style gowns with puff sleeves and silk organza overlays drawn up with bows in the front. The gowns were trimmed with lace and matching ribbon. The honor attendants carried nosegay bouquets of carnations, daisies, roses and baby’s breath and theand baby's breath.The flower girl was attired in a small-flowered print gown in the same style as the other attendants which was designed and made by the mother of the bridegroom. She carried a silver basket of carnations, daisies and baby’s breath.The reception was held at the Westminister House immediately following the ceremony. A wedding cake, made by the mother of the bridegroom, and punch wereserved.
