Miss Deweber becomes bride of Herbert MimsIn a candlelight ceremony onAug. 14 at the Assembly of God Church in Los Lunas, Patricia Lee Deweber became the bride of Herbert E. Mims.The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. d. Deweber of Los Lunas and the bridegroom Is the son of Mrs. Margaret Mims of Albuquerque.Rev. John Deweber, grandfather of the bride and pastor of the church, and the bride’sfather, Rev. W. D. Deweber, performed the double-ring ceremony.The bride was dressed In an empire style gown of organza over satin, with a lace yoke. Appliqued on the skirt a.id sleeves of the gown and around the veil were flowers of matchir* lace. She wore a locket belonging to her mother and carried a Bible which her mother carried at her wedding.Maid of honor was Carla Blaylock. Bridesmaids were Pamela Deweber, sister of the bride, Nancy Ann Mosman, cousin of the bride, and Barbara Walker, all of Los Lunas.Each of them wore dresses identical in style to the bride’s. Miss Blaylock's was yellow and the bridesmaids were blue.Best man was Wendell R. Mims of San Antonio, Tex., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Gary Mange of Albuquerque, Billy Deweber and Robert Deweber, brothers of the bride. Ushers were Allen Deweber, cousin of the bride, and John Watson, all of Lot Lunas.Janis and Pam Mims, sisters of the groom, were candlellghters.A reception was held at the home of the Wayne Ehlerts of Los Lunas.The bride Is a graduate of Los Lunas High School and a 1971 graduate of the University of New Mexico. The gToom is also a graduate of UNM and attended Waytand College in Plainvlew, Tex.The couple will live in Ft.Worth, Tex., whert Mims will attend Southwestern Baptist Seminary as a ministerial student.
