Johnson, 2009 Twentieth Bead N„ Arlington, Va.Celebrating the 9 a. m. nuptial mass and officiating at the double ring ceremony was the Very Rev. Robert A. Feehan. Joseph Rossi was a* the organ console, playing traditional nuptial melodies as ineiden-Hta! music for the mass and accompanying Miss Elaine McCleHen as she sang Areedelt’s “Ave Maria” “O Lord, X Am Not Worthy” andFanis Angelicus.”Fews cn the white carpeted bridal aisle were marked with white gla-with large white bows. Flowers at the church were arranged by Mmes. J. L. Barth, Arthur Sunde, Florence Wynkcoj Finlayson and Earl Bope and Miss Jean Finlayson.Escorted and given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a flocrlength gown of frosted white marquisette with an all-over floral design. The bodice was styled with a hiyh neeklined yoke of plain marquisette with low double ruffles of the frosted material giving an off-the-sboulder effect, The teg sleeves ended in wrist points and the bouffant skirt extended into a long train edged with a wide ruffle of the same material. Her veil of bridal illusion, held in place by a narrow band of lilies-of-the-valley, was the one worn by her bridesmaid, Mrs, Walde-mr Green (nee Virginia Wheeler) and the letter’s sister, Mrs. Clarion Larson, at their own weddings. As jewelry -she wore the bridegroom’s gift'©! gold earrings and carried an arm bouquet of pink and white roses. -Attending her cousin as maid of honor was Miss Joan Moore, Montebello, Calif., She and the bridesmaids, Mrs. Green and Miss Phyllis Gunderson, Antigo, Wis, were gowned in identical frocks of green organdy fashioned with wide ruffles around the drop shoulders and similar double ruffles at the hem of the full skirts. Xa their hair they wore white carnations and rotes and ear-tied fan shaped bouquets of the same flowers.Four-year-old Timmy Kavaney and Joey Crawford were dressed in long trousered white suits for their role as riog-bearers. They carried the rings on heart-shaped pillows of white satin.Stanford Johnson, Minneapolis, attended his brother as best man. Ushers were Donald Kreltz. Minneapolis, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, James McLaughlin, Ferris Cordner and Donald Robinson.Mr. and Mrs. Wynkoop were hosts t© 200 guests at a reception at theBismarck Country Club followingthe ceremony. Pouring was the bridegroom’s sister, Mrs. DonaldKrafts. Minneapolis, and a Uuiver-sity of Minnesota classmate of the couple, Ml® Joyce stannard, Willis ton, cut the cake, The guest book was kept by Mias Mary Alice Nielsen, Valley City.Assisting at the reception were Mrs. R. S. See, Mrs. Ray Robinson, Mrs. Ferris Cordner and Mrs. Clarion Larson, and the Misses Betty Grace Cave. Marian Braudes, Jean Finlayson, Marjorie Larson, Dorothy Robinson, Jane Riggs and Mrs. Marjorie Robinson.When the couple left for a wed-gion, the new Mss. Johnson wore a blue chambre dress with accessories of white.' A graduate of Bismarck high school, sisartsk Junior college and the University of Minnesota, she taught last year at Freeport, 111. she will begin work this fall as a teacher at the Elliot Park Neighborhood House in Minneapolis, j Mr. Johnson, a graduate of the' Albuquerque, N. M., high school, received his degree this year from the University of Minnesota. An air force veteran «f the late war, he is enrolled in the university’s graduate school. ,Coming from out-of-town for the wedding were the O. N. Johnsons, parents of the bridegrcctn, Arlington, Vs.; his brother, Stanford Johnson, and his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kreftz, all of Minneapolis; and his aunt and cousin, Mrs. F. H. Knutson ami son, Kenneth, Rapid city, s. D,; MW. A. G.
