Miss Shirley Cielke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cielke of Chicago, became the bride of Melvin Grandt, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Grandt of Wheeling., newlyweds spent several days honeymooning at the Wisconsin Dells and are now at home atEden Evangelical LutheranChurch, Chicago, was the scene of the double ring ceremony at 4 o’clock Saturday, August 17. Rev. H. Baumgartel tied thenuptial knot.The bride’s dress was fashioned with three-quarter length sleeves and square neckline. She wore a full length veil tiiat had been worn by her mother on her wedding day. Her bridal bouquet was of white roses.Adele Hinks was the bride’s maid of honor and she was attired in a blue net dress and carried a bouquet of yellow roses. The bridesmaids, Virginia Gurt and Mildred Grandt, were dressed in pink net and the junior bridesmaid, Carol Cielke, sister of the bride, was gowned in blue net. They all carried bouquets of red roses. *Brother of the groom, Gilbert Grandt, served as best man, with Walter Cielke and ClarenceLemke acting as ushers.follow'mgreception at Deckers in Mor-for 200 guests was held the ceremony.
