Governor Welcomes 'James' Film Troupe To Missouri SettingGov. Lloyd C. Stark yesterday welcomed to Missouri the movie company which is filming parts of its moving picture “Jesse James near Noel, Mo.“I am delighted and proud that you have chosen Missouri for the filming oI, the Jesse James picture.’’ the governor wired Henry King, director of the picture. “I welcome you and your associates to our state. I hope you have the pleasure of meeting my good friends in southwest Missouri, (State) Senators Gene Frost and Allen McReynolds and Col. Grover James and that your stay in Missouri wil be both pleasantand profitable.”
