MARRIED9Garvey-Burkhart.In the presence of the immediate relatives of bride and groom, Mr Neil Ford Garvey, of Illiopolis, 111., and Miss Eva Glenola Burkhart were united in marriage Sunday at high noon, August 28, 1927. at the home of the bride’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burkhart on West Main street in LaHarpe. Rev. N. R. Simpson of the local Christian church performed the ceremony using the double ring service. The young couple had no attendants.The Burkhart home was prettily decorated for the occasion. The bride was attired in a white crepe dress and carried a rose bouquet. A delightful three-course luncheon was served. The happy couple left during the afternoon for Springfield, 111., where they will make their home.
