Hawkins and many attended not expecting to witness a marriage ceremony. Immediately before dinnerthe host gave a’speech of welome tothe guests after which Kev. Norton of Berlin Be'ghts came forward fol-wed by the young couple. Afterthe marriage a bountiful dinner was served and in the aft moon the brideat d groom wen- escorted to the trainby many friends who gave them a shower of rice, old shoes, etc. Aftera short trip in the east they wiil bo at homo for a while in Collins, Mr.and Mrs Thompson have the bestwishes of a host o* frierds.
