K. Sp rry of Clarinda, Iowa, and San Hiego, California. The ( eremony was perfonm* | in the parlor hencuth an arch of ferns and flowers, Kev. George* Uup-|ey of liohokeii, N. .1., cousin of the bride ofliciating.The bride was attired in a gown of white silk niargnisctte and messaline with a long tulle veil and tarried a r hower boejuet of white roses. In the absence of the grooms, University of Illinois (hum, Mr. P. (). I’reston of Chicago, Mr. (’has. Rowe of Kmmits-httt'K acted as best man. Miss Mary Hollinger, sister of the bride was maid of honor and wore white silk margtlisette over green. Mrs. Aclele Stamp and Harriet lirashcars of Ral-tiinot'e we re1 bridesnmidH and wore gowns of pink and green. Miss Hanna Fahnestock of Harrisburg presided at the piano and rendered Lohengrin's wedding march as a proce ssional and Mcndelsonn’s as a recessional.Misses Kva Howe, Margaret Ituplcy, Grace Itowe, Mrs. It. M. Zacharias am' Miss Anna Itowe tarrying chains of ferns entered the parlor proceeding the welding march and formed an aisle through which the* party passed.Immediately follow ing the ceremony a reception was held in the* spacious hall, the* entire wedding party being in the receiving line.The groom was a former student at the University of Illinois; the bride* at (Toucher College*, Haltimore, and she is well known throughout Washington county.The wedding is the culmination of a romance begun several years ago when the bride visited in the* groom’s western home town.
