Delaware Bend has enjoyed a sensation, for once, in the form of a forced marriage. Mr. Charles Schindler woed the fair Emma Hill, as becometh a gallant swain of Dela- : j ware Bend ; and in due course of time, Em-ma became a mother, (probably owing to the jproductiveness of this country.) On last I lt;•Saturday, the ease was brought before ’Squire Core for adjustment, and his “Honor” promptly decided that the defendant had something to do with it; and adjudged that the defendant be joined to the plaintiff in the holy bonds of matrimony, in order that Mr. S. junior, might enjoy the benefits of a father’s care. On Sunday at 4 o’clock, the parties assembled at ’Squire Slough’s, when he repeated the eermony that made them one for life, (unless sooner divorced.) Behold the majesty of the law.Gorbian.
