Miss Catron Weds Roger BentonMiss Patricia Jane Catron became the bride of Roger Dale Benton July 28 at the Green vale Baptist Church. Rev. William Kendrick performed the 7 p.m. ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Catron of Route 1, Church Hill. The bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Benton of 45 Oxford Ave., Mansfield, Ohio.Church decorations consisted of two large baskets of pink and white chur-santhemums. A program of wedding’ music was presented by N aw ad ah Chapman.The bride, given in marriage hy her parents, wore a gown of white polyester styled with a lace bodice, high V-neckline, long sleeves ending in deep cuffs, and full skirt with ruffle trim. The gown was made by the bride's mother and sisters.Her el-bow-length veil of illusion was held by a small lace-covered cap. Ohe carried a bouquet of white daisies and red rosesplaced atop a white Bible.Penny Shoemaker served as maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Pam Catron, sister of the bride. Flower girl was Martha Catron, sister of the bride.The attendants wore gowns of pink polyester styled with long sleeves and empire bodice trimmed with whit c lace. They carried large while chrysanthemums.David Ray served a_s best man. Albee Calhoun was the usher, and Bruce Blessing, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.A reception was given at the home of the bride's parents by the sisters of the bride. Theresa Newton presided at the bride’s Ixvik, and Mrs. Sandra Couch directed the wedding.The bride is a senior at Gate City High School. The bridegroom was graduated from Mansfield Senior High School, Mansfield, Ohio. He’s employed by Kingsport Foreign Car Service.
