August 2, in St. Paul Lutheran Church.Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. George Rauch of New Braunfels, and the groom is the son of Mrs. James McCutchen of I.exing* ton, North Carolina, and the late Mr. McCutchen.Wedding vows were spoken before an altar adorned with white glads. The Reverend Joe Kraatz officiated.Mrs. Bob Self was soloist, and Wayne Froelich was organistEntering with her father, the bride carried a bouquet of Marguerite daisies, lilies of the valley, and English ivy. Lace, adorned with pearls and crystals, fashioned the bodice and front panel of her organza gown. The bodice was designed with a batteau neckline and short scalloped sleeves I .ace appliques enhanced the train of her gown, and she wore a beaded pill box hat to which the elbow-length veil was attached.Mrs Hollis Owens of Dallas. sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Carol Palumbo of San Antonio, Miss Mary McCutchen and Miss Margie McCutchen, sisters of the groom, of Lexington, North Carolina.Carrying daisy bouquets, the attendants were attired in floor-length dresses of yellow jakarta trimmed with daisies. Each wore a yellow floral headpiece.Jeff Owens, son of Mr and Mrs. Hollis Owens, and Jesse Scott Webb, son of Mr, and Mrs. Douglas Webb of New Braunfels, were ring bearersDr. Gerald Briggs of Winston Salem, North Carolina, was his brother-in-law’s best man, and groomsmen were David Vaughn of Joplin, Missouri, John Rauch and Harry Rauch, brothers of the bride.Serving as ushers were Ronald C. Riley of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Hollis Owens.The bride’s mother wore a lime green lace dress with matching hat and a white orchid corsage, and the groom's mother chose a pink silk suit with pink hat and a white orchid corsage for the wedding.A reception was held in the church’s education building Miss Charlene Trigett of San Antonio was in charge ofthe bride’s book.Assisting in serving were Mrs Brenda Dechart, Miss Iris Sandell, Mrs. Douglas Webb, Mrs Michael McCabe, Miss Karen Dunn, and Mrs.Richard Bray.Guests came from San Antonio, Kingsville, Lancaster, and New Braunfels, also from parts of Ohio, Missouri, North Carolina, and Florida.The newlywed couple is residing at 8607 Jones-Malts-berger, San AntonioMrs. James McCutchen, mother of the groom, entertained at the Hungry Hobo Restaurant for the rehearsal supper.Glads and daisies were used for the table centerpiece.Guests numbered twenty-five.Ball Brothers OfferJar Prizes for FairBall Brothers Company wi offer first and second prizlt; at Comal County Fair in tl canning and preserving di\ sion for vegetables, fruit jellies, preserves, jams, ar meats.First prizes in the veg etable, fruit, preserve, andmeat section will be 2 dozer Ball wide-mouth Mason quart jars, and in the jam section two dozen Ball screw-top jelly jars.
