The bride was the youngest daughter of Mrs. J. Hu* »wn«l, HaHboro, and the late Mr.Hu tend. The groom was the only son of Mr. ?nd Mrs. Russell Madden of Rivers.The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Salmon* of Bethany. Mrs. K. Chaplin playA the wedding music, while Mrs. Roy McGiilivrav sang Til walk beside you’ during the signing of the register. Both are cous.ns of the bride.The bride was given in marriage by-her brother. Jack. She was lovely in a traditional floor-length gown. The trim-lining bodice of chantilly iace over satin featured a drop .shoulder effect, with scallops of iace (outlining the yoke of ir. loo net. T lie lace sleeves ended in lilypoints. The full skirt was .-atin with a double overskirt of nylon net. inset with medallions of lace. A fingertip veil was held in place with a pretty satin halo. She carried a bouquet of American beauty roses with white gladioli. and her only ornament was a necklace of pearls anti rhinestones, gift of the groom.Bridesmaid was Miss Lola Reid of Neepawa. Keith Cousins, Port*, age la Prairie, cousin of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Alvin Huband, brother of the bride, and Edward Shuttle* worh, brother-in-law of the groom.Following the ceremony a reception was held in the parish hall, with the mothers of the bride and groom receiving. For going away, the bride chose a bluish-gray suit, a white blouse, navy accessories and a corsage of red roses-Following a honeymoon trip to Jasper, New Westminster and Victoria, Mr. and Mrs. Madden will reside in Rivers.
