Kirhy-Groomer Wedding Vows SolemnizedIn a ceremony solemnized Saturday at 5 p. m., Miss Imogene Kirby became the bride of Bobby Groomer.The single ring ceremony was read by the Rev. Jim Smith in the home of the bridegroom's brother, Lee Groomer, and Mrs. Groomer, 421 E street southeast.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kirby of Plain view, Okla., and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Ellar Groomer, 421 E street southeast.Wedding colors of pink and blue were featured in decorations.The bride wore a light blue dresg with white accessories and a corsage of pink chrysanthemums.Attending the couple were Loyd Groomer, brother of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Groomer of Fullerton, Texas.The couple will live at 012 A street southeast until their home is completed at 202 Ninth avenue southeast.The bride graduated from Plain-view high school and has been employed in Ardmore for the past year and a half.The bridegroom, a graduate of Ardmore high school, is employed by Ben Franklin Refinery.Attending the ceremony from out of town were the bride's parents and Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Groomer.Friday evening the bride was complimented with a pre-nuptial gift party in the Cooper party room. Hosting the party were Mrs. Ira Moore, Mrs. Lee Groomer and Mrs. Doris Kirby.Attending were Mrs. Babe Elies, Miss Erma Lee Page, Miss Beulah Faye Johnson, Mrs. Claude Creecy, Mrs. Dan Walker, Mrs. J. W. Kirby, Mrs. Leon Wilson, Mrs. Fred Daniels, Mrs. Loyd Groomer, Mrs. Charlie Sharp, Mrs. Freeman Armstrong, Mrs. .Orville Buck, Mrs. Jess Read, Mrs. Bill West, Mrs. Wesley Henderson and Mrs. Roscoe Kendall.
