J The wedding of Miss Charlotte jBrust of this city and John Mitchell :of Chicago was solemnized at Mes-1siah Lutheian church Saturday eve-' mng at 7 o’clock. The Rev. A. D- Freden performed the ceremony and- Mrs. Fred Savely and Harold Bloom-f berg were attendants.The bride was given in marriaget by her father, Charles Brust. She ;- wore a white taffeta dress and veilfastened to a wreath of orange blossoms. She carried Johanna Hill roses. Mrs. Savely was attired in white organdie over green. Her bouquet was of pink roses. Fred Savely, Chester Johnson and RobertMatthieson were ushers.Prior to the ceremony Miss Marion Goempler sang. **0h, Promise Me’ and “I Love You Truly.” She was • accompanied at the organ by Mrs. , Anna Olin. who also played the wed- ; ding marches. The church was at- j tractively decorated with hydrangea.A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents on South\dams street. One hundred andwenty-five guests were present, among whom were: Mr. and Mrs.Carl S hurr o! Chicaeo; Mr. and j Mrs. Oscar Peterson and daughter, Romona, and Burk Olson, of Rockford, 111.; Mr. and Mrs. William Red-fern and family of Galesbure; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Galbraith of Keokuk;Mrs. Anna Brust and family of RockIsland.The bride and bridesroom^ left for Chicago here they will make their ; home at 4^41 Ellis avenue. Mr.Mitchell, son of Mrs. R- T. Darby ! of this city, is associated with the jStandard Oil company._-Miss Blaul will be united in marriage to Janies P Blaul Saturda,September 16.
