The gate will leave the cus tomers In on the ground level and will enable them to pick out with ease the section of the grandstand in which they want to sit. Choice of this sort was more or less lint ited under the old system. But the other improvements, too. afforded much satisfaction, it was found that the new surface on the raee track puts the runway in excellent shape. The betting booths are now large enough to accommodate a capacity crowd; nnd everything on the grounds has been painted yellow and brown. The rearrangement of the animal housing capacity was noted with satisfaction. It was decided to place all the horse show and exhibition horses in the cattle barn. This will leave tooni for fully 300 race horses in the stables around the track and in the new stables in one corner.President Harry Hester, W. D. WUIson, James T. Wolf, J.
