FAMILY WITHNOTED ANCESTRYThe second annual reunion of the Duuc n family was held iu the maple grove on Willard Duncan1* farm, If miles south of Selma, Delaware county, August 11. This family is of Scotch-Engliab descent, their ancestry being easily traced to the bouse of Sutherland, an earldom created by King William. The first representatives of this family came to America in 1710. Coming from a hardy industrious race the family branched out until its representatives are found scattered all over the United States The ones holding the lt;reunion live chi* fly in this and i Delaware counties.The assembly was called to order by President B. S. Duncan of this , place, who made a short address. This was followed by the reading , of the family history bj Miss India i Duncan, assistant secretary, and an address by Wm. Pangburn, of Young America.
