Nuptials Unite Edwina Rascon, Ramon YbarraEdwina Rascon and Ramon Ybarra exchanged marriage vows during a wedding mass officiated by the Rev. Fr. Alvin Wilde in St. Joseph Catholic Church on the afternoon of July 28.SETTING Dual baskets of carnations flanked the altar. Music was provided the organist, Mrs. Carmen Navarette, and the St. Joseph Choir.PARENTS Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Domingo Rascon of Fort Stockton.The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Ybarra Sr. of Fort Stockton.THE BRIDE When escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her father, the bride was elegantly gowned in a white lace bridal creation over satin, styled with long, full sheer sleeves appliqued in lace, fitted waist and square portrait neckline atop a lace tiered skirt.Pearl earrings and necklace, belonging to her mother, were worn by the bride.Her bouffant bridal veil of illusion was caught by a headpiece of crystal flowers and waxed pearls.Light pink carnations were arranged and tied with pink streamers to form the bridal bouquet.BRIDAL ATTENDANTSMaid of honor was Mrs. Renaldo Ramos and Mrs. Thomasa Moreno of Houston, an aunt of the bride, was madrina de laso.Bridesmaids attending included Margie Lana.Esmeralda Duarte, Lorina Velasquez, Carol Medina, Cynthia Walker. LauraVillalba, Norma Herrera, Elida Carrillo, Diana Nunez, Rosa Carrasco, Elsa Suarez, Maria Ontiveros, Nora Munoz, Jo Ann Lujan, Claudel Gonzales, Connie Ybarra, Enriqueta Leyua and Alva PenaLibby Moreno, PriciliaSanchez, Suzie Dominguez and Edwina Duran were damas. Each wore a light pink dotted Swiss dress with pink s trimmingi Bridesmaid were attired in hot pink gowns accented with i matching trim, styled withsquare collars, empire waists v and decorative sleeves|t Matching hats tied with rib-e bons and bouquets of pinkcarnations complimented the gowns.MOTHERS a tormal floral dress fashioned with V-neckline and long sleeves and worn with a white carnation corsage was chosen by Mrs. Rascon for her daughter’s wedding.Mrs. Ybarra wore a white with black formal styled with long sleeves and adorned by a floral corsage.MALE ATTENDANTS Reynaldo Ramos was best man, and Ignaso Moreno attended as padrino de laso Groomsmen included Mario Venegas, Nicky Milan, David Gonzales, Alfredo Garcia, David Gomez, Joel Galindo, Rudy Holguin. Jesse Blanco, David Nunez, Orlando Terrazas, Larry Gonzales, Meme Baiza, Henry Bernard. Frankie Villalba, Joe Granado, Leo Orona, Ruben Leyva and Ruben Ramirez.Manuel Ybarra Jr. ushered. RECEPTION Wedding guests attended a reception held in Pecos County Exhibition Building immediately following the marriage ceremony.The white wedding confection and an arrangement of pink carnations adorned the refreshment table.Mmes. Richard Chavarria, Herman Ramos, Lalo Ibarra, Lali Pena, Arcides and Frank Hernandez served in the house party.HONEYMOONFor the wedding trip to Carlsbad, N.M., the bride chose to wear a light pink floral dress with pink corsage.Upon returning August 1, the newlyweds made their home at 505 W. Division.
