A Notable Wedding Near Covet.The wedding of Mr. 0. W. Shively and Miss Flora Barclay occurred Tuesday evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Barclay. Mr. Barclay isa wealthy farmer living two miles west of Covel. The myetio words were pronounced by Kev. H. Vanderwert, formerly of Stanford, now of Centralia, Mo. After themauy congratulations they were all summoned to the dining-room, where the usual wedding feast was enjoyed by all. Amoug the many useful ami ornamental presents were the following: Full set of china dishes, fatherand mother of bride; extension table, Barclay brothers; paper holder, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Biggs; silver fruit basket, J. A. Sur her and wife; glass fruit basket, J. B. Norris; fruit dish. Grant and Cora Piper; silver butter dish, Katie and Wm. Halam; cake stand, Lucien Campbell; butter dish, Elsie Barclay; coffee pot, C. W. Hulva and Geo. Glenn; clock, E. Offut and II. Cobb; glass tumblers, Leila and Lou Rogers; butter knife, Q. Roberts; pie plates, Mr. and Mrs. OUie Norris; silver celery stand. Bonj. ami Lizzie Staley; salt and pepper caster, Clara and Millie Dickinson; “Elements of Pedagogy,” F. M. Martin; water set, 11. L. Bom-gardner and Chas. Littleton; hammock, J. A. Bou 1 ware; center table, Miss Sadie Shively; table spread, Lizzie Glenn and Hattie Bozarth; towels. Mrs. H. \V. Quinn; bed spread, Mr. and Mrs. T. T. Stubblefield; picture frame, Julia ami Annie War-low; lamp, John am! Mollie Barbee; lamp, Jessie and James Hill.
