Pleasant, formerly of Big Spring.Music was by an a capella choir from the Johnson Street Church of Christ, and the wedding party stood before an altar.backed and flanked by arched candelabra entwined with greenery The organist was Mrs Mark Maneval Miss Kathy Jones, Abilene, served as the maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Lynn Sanders,Eldorado; Miss Lou AnnMorris, San Antonio; Miss Susan Archer and Miss Judy Guinn.They were identically attired in floor-length gowns of floral print organza in various pastel colors The fitted bodice'i was styled with scooped neckline, an inset at the midriff and self ruffles capping the shoulders of the sleeveless gowns A large self ruffle edged the hemline of the flared, gathered skirt Completing their costumes were matching solid color picture hats adorned with satin bows and streamersWHITE GOWN The bride, carrying a bouquet of orchids, stephanotis and gypsophila. was attired in a formal gown of ivory organza and Chantilly lace in Victorian style The bodice and bishop sleeves were done in pin-tucked organza with triple ruffles of lace at the cuffs Lace ruffling outlined the yoke below the high neckline, extending to thewaistline in back, which was marked by a satin bow and streamers The skirt, rim med with ruffled lace, swept to a chapel-length trainChris Denton, San Antonio, was best man, and grom smen were Don Wilson, Abilene; John Blake, Del Rio, Randy Pipkin.
