The marriage of Miss Pay Whlisler,! one of the teaehers of Madison! township, and Verla Cleary, of Elyood,' was quietly solemnized Wednesday evening in Elwood.with Rev.] H. C. Harmon, pastor of the 'First -Mptho-dist ehurch in Elwood, performing the-ceremony. The bride, wtJoj is' a daughter of Edward Whisler,] residing east of Hobbs, ' a graduajte of the Tipton high school, and; following her graduation, has'heen teaching in the county andl will ieach again in the HobbB school this] winter.
