Shawnee.The bride is thedaughter of Mr and Mrs. Eugene LaCombe. formerly of Olathe, now of Shawnee, Ks. The bride’s grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Edna Townley Kiliey.formerly of Olathe and now of Shawnee and Mr and Mrs. Garry LaCombe of ShawneeCansler is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Cansler. Prairie VillageFather John Erickson officiated at the ceremony per formed before an altar decorated with candelabras adorned with pink and yellow killion daisies, spring rye and navy blue bows The church aisle was lined with chimney lamps decorated with navy blue bows and spring ryeDonna Wallace was vocalist. Organist was Sue Reichert The music included Avc Maria, One Love. and Lady of Fatima .The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white silk organza with a striped bodice and a stand-up collar of cluny lace The gown had sheperdess sleeves, empire waist and a gathered skirt accented with Cliaiy lace A Juliet cap covered with ruffled lace a satin bow and streamers held acathedral mantilla The bride carried a garden bouquet of pink sweetheart roses, pink und yellow pixie carnations, white stephanotis and spring rye.Mrs Kathy Cansler. Prairie Village, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Barbara Brady. Elaine Williams and Cathi Lacerte, all of Shawnee. They wore long, navy blue dresses of voile, with sheperdess sleeves and a deep flounce They wore white garden hats with navy blue ribbons. They carried garden bouquets of spring rye. pink and yellow pixie carnations, baby's breath and navy blue star flowers.Flower girl was Debbie Cansler of Prairie Village, niece Of the bridegroomRichard Cansler. was beat man for his brother.
