Miss Rachel Peters Becomes Bride Of Sgt. Donald KolbergIn a simple but impressive cere* mony at two o'clock on Sunday afternoon. Miss Rachel Peters, daughter Of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Peters of ‘Brenham became the bride of Staff Sergeant Donald Kolberg. son of Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Koiberg of Eagle Bake.The ceremony was performed by Rev. W_ W. Conerly. Methodist pastor at the home of the bride’s parents, where white gladiolus and; fern were artistically arranged in;keeping with the occasion.The bride, who was given in j marrige by her father, wore a j wool gabardine suit of teal blue ■ with white blouse and fushia hat and gloves. Her accessories were of brown lizard. She selected a cor* sage of white gardenias as her bridal flowers.A small group of intimate friends and relatives were the only guests present and served as witnesses.The bride's mother was dressed in an attractive frock of black and wore a corsage of rose asters. The groom’s mother wore a costume of all white and her corsage was ofA reception followed the ceremony, after which Sergeant' and Mrs. Kolberg left for a honeymoon trip to Roekport. They will re-ture for a visit with their parents before Donald report to San Antonio and proceeds to Tampa, Florida for further assignment,Sgt. Kolberg has jpst returned to the States from long service in the North African and European Theatres of War.Mr. and Mrs. Kolberg, their daughter, Mrs. Winifred Albright and baby Gail were in Brenham for the wedding.The Headlight Joins the host Of friends of Sgt. and Mrs. Kolberg in wishing them mueh happinessand good fortune. .»...--
