Announcements were issued to friends Saturday of the marriage of Clarence R. Johnson and Pauline Flor-ence Curtis. The wedding took place Saturday at Sullivan, Indiana. They were accompanied on the trip by his brother, Rev. Ottis Johnson and wife who performed the ceremony. After the ceremony they went to the home of the groom’s brother, Basil Johnson, a teacher in the schools at Rose-dale. They returned home Tuesday and will be at home to their freinds after September first. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Johnson north of town and is one of this community’s ideal young men. He is employed at the Globe strip mine. The bride is a daughter of Mr. aijd Mrs. Ulyses Curtis. She has been for a long time employed at the Ingle store where by her courteous manner she has made many friends. They are both among our very best young people and their host of friends will extend them best wishes for a happy and prosperous married life together.
