Hogg-NullLeslie Diane Hogg and Kirk Alan Null were married at 2 p.m. June 6, 1987, in Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Marion.The Rev. G. Wade Rowatt Jr. of Louisville, Ky., officiated before an altar decorated with white and gold candelabras, white chrysanthemums, white stock greenery, white satin ribbons and baskets of ferns.Patricia Doty of Benton and Floyd Lee Hogg of Hurst are the parents of the bride.The bridegroom is the son of Larry and Marilyn Null of Herrin.The bride wore a gown of beaded white satin of alencon lace with a sabrina neckline.Matron of honor was Melody Whitecotton of Herrin. Bridesmaids were April Hogg of Benton, Janet Rowell of Colp, Andrea Osborne of Carterville and Jennifer Bryant ofWheaton. Flower girl was Crystal Hogg of Carterville.Best man was Kent Smith of Herrin. Groomsmen were Keith Null, John Van and Tony McEntire, all of Herrin, and Greg Wanstreet of Energy. Ushers were Rex Whitecotton and Mike Armstrong, both of Herrin, and Steve Skaggs of Hurst. Ring bearer was Justin Vancil of Carbon-dale.Gayla Baker, pianist, of Carbon-dale, Roberta Pryer, vocalist, of Carterville, and Gary Dooley, vocalist, of Herrin provided the wedding music.The newlyweds greeted guests at a reception in the Abundant Life Center. They are at home in Carbondale after a wedding trip to Waikiki Beach, Oahu, Hawaii.The bride is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.
